Living 4 the weekend!

Halloween is near, the ghost and goblins I fear, what a rainy day today. The kids are all hyped over the approaching holiday season. I must say that the grown up Benson's are too. This will be the first holiday season with Granny Brown living with us. She is in for a treat. Diamond had her first orchestra recital tonite and her dad said that she did great. Unfortunately, I had to work. My sister and her girls are coming this weekend and we will be so happy to seem all. Until later, be safe and have fun. Trick or Treat!!!

What a great day! The family went bowling and had a blast. The kids enjoyed themselves a lot. It is so much fun when we get a chance to spend quality time together. We look forward to next weekend.

Loving Autumn

Ghost and Goblins are all around, can you hear the spooky sound. The Benson's are preparing for halloween. I know, for those of you who fail to celebrate the calendar name, it is now more popular to say Harvest Fest or Hallelujah Fest. Whatever the name is, I still see it as a time for family, friends, peace and love. Evil is only known to children if things are projected this way! As the holiday season near, all we can do as a family is enjoy the season and create new memories. God knows, there is so much to be thankful for! Brandon and Diamond are doing well in school and looking forward to the Thanksgiving break, now that Fall break has passed. Brandon piano lessons are going well and Diamond has been selected to become a Duke University TIP student. We are so proud of both of them. Being a mother is busy, but it is definitely worth every minute and second to know that you are loved unconditionally. Fall is a wonderful time of year with football (Go Team), yard sales, great weather and hot chocolate!. Sometimes enjoying the little things help us all to prepare for the bigger things that are coming. God Bless, Peace, Love & Serenity until the next time.
